Shea Fashion is thrilled to announce the addition of two outstanding professionals to our Board of Directors: Joseph Adegboyega and Celina Andrade. Both bring unique perspectives, deep ties to the community, and a shared passion for empowering youth through fashion and creative expression. As we continue to grow and expand our impact, their leadership and expertise will play a vital role in shaping the future of Shea Fashion.

Meet Celina Andrade

Celina Andrade is an accomplished legal professional with a strong commitment to advocacy and community engagement. After earning her law degree from Roger Williams University School of Law in 2021, she built a career in civil litigation, representing clients in Rhode Island and Massachusetts courts. Currently, she serves as Legal Counsel at the Rhode Island Department of Labor and Training. Celina was drawn to Shea Fashion because of its dedication to empowering high school students through creative expression. She recognizes the profound impact that fashion, set design, production, and marketing can have on young people, providing them with valuable skills and opportunities. Most importantly, she values the organization’s emphasis on individuality and personal style—ensuring that every student feels seen, valued, and confident. Looking ahead, Celina envisions Shea Fashion achieving national recognition in the next five years. She believes the organization's annual showcase and youth programs will inspire designers and fashion enthusiasts across the country, attracting major sponsorships and expanding its reach to high school students statewide.

Meet Joseph Adegboyega

For Joseph Adegboyega, joining the Shea Fashion Board is a full-circle moment. As a former Shea High School student and past participant in Shea Fashion, he has firsthand experience with the program’s impact. Now, as a Senior Business Consultant at Ernst & Young, he brings a wealth of knowledge in business strategy and organizational growth to the Board.

Joseph studied Marketing and Finance at Providence College, graduating in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science degree. His professional journey has equipped him with the skills to help businesses and organizations achieve their goals—expertise that will be invaluable to Shea Fashion as it continues to expand. With a deep connection to the program, Joseph is passionate about giving back to the community that shaped him. He envisions the Shea Fashion Annual Showcase becoming Rhode Island’s premier youth creative event, providing young talent with a platform to launch careers in fashion, modeling, styling, photography, and beyond.

Looking to the Future

With Celina and Joseph joining our Board, Shea Fashion is poised for an exciting future. Their dedication, vision, and professional expertise will help drive the organization forward, ensuring that more young people have access to the opportunities and experiences that make Shea Fashion so impactful.

We are honored to welcome them to our team and look forward to the incredible contributions they will make. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to grow, innovate, and empower the next generation of fashion leaders!

Welcome, Celina and Joseph!
